Michael Troy - BIO
Michael Troy was born and raised in the
rough-and-tumble mill town of Fall River, Mass. In many ways, his life reflects
the lives of the hard-working common folk who populate this part of New
England. Having spent parts of his own life as a mill worker, fisherman,
laborer and carpenter, and most of his adult years as a husband and father,
Michael has traveled many paths, and the experience and wisdom he's gleaned
along the way echoes through his music.A magical storyteller with a gift for melody, a deep rich voice, excellent finger-pickin' skills and the ability to compose outstanding stanzas of substance, Michael's plaintive ballads speak of the hills and mills of Fall River and of childhood dreams not quite forgotten in the adult quest to make an honest living.
Michael has won many awards for his music winning the 2004 Boston Folk Festival Songwriter’s Contest, the Founders Title Folk and Bluegrass Festival Songwriter's Contest also in 2004, the South Florida Folk Festival Songwriter's Contest in 2005, the 2006 Wildflower Folk Festival Songwriter's Contest, the 2007 New England Songwriting Contest and the 2010 Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Contest. www.folkmichaeltroy.com
Chuck Williams - BIO
Chuck Williams has been appearing throughout New England and in recent years has gone coast to coast with his music. He has been traveling to coffeehouses, performing arts centers and festivals sowing seeds of his songs along the way. His lyrics and melodies are a musical journey reflecting emotions of everyday life brought to you through the stories within his songs.
Chuck is a 9 time nominee of the Motif Magazine Music Awards, vice president of R.I.S.A. (Rhode Island Songwriters Association) a member of N.S.A.I. (Nashville Songwriters Association) and A.S.C.A.P.

Genres: Folk / Rock / Blues
BIO:
Matt Borrello is a singer-songwriter from Southeastern Massachusetts. For five years Matt has performed regularly in the Boston/Providence area, usually as a solo acoustic act, but also as a sideman for other songwriters and as the leader of his band, the Quality Dogs. Matt's insightful lyrics and passionate performances have earned him recognition in various New England talent showcases and songwriting contests, most notably at the Boston Folk Festival Youth Songwriting Contest.
His songs draw their structures from folk, country, blues and rock music. He is a lover of spontaneous collaborations and his songs have highly malleable arrangements. Matt writes from a personal perspective, but his songs are markedly devoid of boring self-pity. He has several protest songs and no breakup songs. Matt has opened shows for well known local and national musicians such as John Flynn, Rick Fetters, Don White, and Kevin So. He has been a part of shows at venues including Club Passim, the Somerville Armory, Rick's Music World, Steve's Backstage Pass, the Taunton River Folk Festival, the Union Coffeehouse and the Soule Homestead Folk Concert Series.

DiPersio released a solo album on iTunes called “The Storm” in 2010 and also played lead guitar on both Zak Jacobson and the Pryor Convictions albums, also on iTunes.
