Tom Irving -Open Mic Feature 4/15/10

Tom Irving, well known and loved as the Ambassador of Rick’s Music and the entire regional folk music scene, will be the April 15th Feature at Rick’s Open Mic.

Tom’s journey as a folkie began many years ago, but when he decided to learn guitar four years ago he signed up for lessons at Rick’s Music. It wasn’t long before Tom launched his Open Mic career on our very own stage and quickly became a very special member of our Open Mic Family (more like a brother!).

It's with Tom's tireless efforts that we are able to offer our Open Mic and the Saturday Song Circle programs to our local community. We can't thank Tom enough for his enthusiastic support and volunteerism.

As an entertainer, Tom's come a long way in just four years!  Through the many music friendships he’s made, he was introduced to the tipple, then the uke and now he's just lovin' his new Washburn mandolin.

Tom Irving is a "Man of Many Frets," but you won’t fret when you enjoy the warmth of his personality as he shares his talent and love of music with his Open Mic Family on Thursday, April 15th!

File your taxes then come to Rick’s and chill out with the Aruba-lovin’ Tom Irving!

HELP WANTED - Lesson Coordinator

Hi Folks,

Jess, our wonderful Lesson Coordinator will be leaving us in a few weeks.   She has taken very good care of our students and their families as well as the teachers and has been a dynamic member of our team here at Rick's.  We'll all miss her and we wish her all the best as she enters her final semester at college and enjoys the challenge of her new position as a Nanny of triplets!  Now that's multi-tasking!

If you or someone you know might be interested in filing her position, here is the JOB POSTING http://ping.fm/HpU1a
